On September 22, the Case Republicans hosted speakers Robert Frost, chairman of the Cuyahoga GOP, and Jennifer Thrasher, a campaign worker in Stark County in the 2008 election. Robert Frost talked about policy and politics, and encouraged members to get connected and active with the Cuyahoga GOP. Both Frost and Thrasher emphasised the importance of volunteering for campaigns, particularly for those interested in going into a politics.
Continuing a yearly tradition, the Case Republicans erected a flag memorial to the victims of the September 11th attacks in the oval outside Kelvin Smith Library. The memorial consisted of hundreds of flags arranged to form the shapes of the twin towers surrounded by a large pentagon. The Case Daily made mention of it, calling it "one of the most visible rememberences" of the day. The memorial stayed up all day, and was an entirely non-partisan thing. (Pictures will be added later.)
